Access control

Access control is a security process that limits who can access data, resources, and physical areas. It’s a critical component of cybersecurity and data protection, and is used to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.

Access control works by using a set of rules and policies to ensure that only authorized people can access what they need. It’s similar to how keys and guest lists protect physical spaces, but for digital spaces.

Access control can also help with employee freedom by allowing employees to enter and exit a building whenever they need to, without having to wait for someone to unlock the door.
